Birthday card

Here's a card I made for Cherrie. Leon sent her a grim reaper for her 50th birthday and this is just a follow up on that from "Leon" again.

Fallen Planet

This is what the planet eventually looks like after being fully assimilated. The ring of fire is a defense barrier that rotates around the planet and also is a byproduct of the core's production of solar and thermal energy. The core is also protected by a barrier made out of a substance similar to diamond, but about a thousand times as hard. Trapp will definitely have a hard time making it back to his home world for sure!

Assimilation

This is the beginning of the long process the Galbraith go through in assimilating an entire planet. The core drills through the surface to plant itself some deep roots, while the tendrils expand and eventually cover the entire surface to maximize it's receiving solar energy to sustain life.

Incoming Planet!

Here's the Galbraith's assimilated planet traveling towards Zable. The Galbraith are in desperate need of finding a new planet to be their next host after it's sun was extinguished. When they learned about this planet's technology being so advanced to even be able to build their own sun that will never run out of energy, it definitely put this destination at the top of their list. As you can see, the planet has a core that it uses as propulsion and three large tendrils with a lot of smaller ones that rotate to travel at rapid speeds.

Alien Planet

The largest planet, Zable, is the home planet of my character named Trapp as it appears before being taken over by another alien race. The Sun displays his race's technology, being able to recreate a sun of their own that will never run out of power or turn into a red giant.

Princess

This is the princess from my other story The Knight Who Rode a Camel. I've been playing around with different techniques in Photoshop to preserve more of the original drawing when I do color work over it so it retains that drawn by hand look.

Trapp separate from background

Here's Trapp separated from the background of a previous post so you can see him more clearly.

Improved Environment concept art

This is an improved version of the last post. I thought the color could be more saturated so as to distinguish the environment better. In case it's hard to view or tell what the landscape exactly is, the ship is situated on a natural arch inside of the cave that goes over an underground river. The side of the cave has blue lighting panels put there, and at the bottom of the entrance where Trapp is, there is a small walkway that is unseen in the perspective, which he uses to get over the river to his ship. You can tell this from the shdows reflected in the water below. Also, the side of the cave to the right has another small natural arch below the lighting which is used like a naturally occurring shelf.

Environment concept art

This is a conceptual piece that shows the character Trapp entering in an underground cavern. It displays their race's combination of technology and nature. This is the hanger where Trapp's ship is stored on a hover pad, and where he has a confrontational run in with his father, now fully assimilated by the Galbraith, before he makes his escape.

Character Development

This is the main character for my story called Trapp. The background is a portrayal of the symbiotic alien's technology to assimilate an entire planet, after which, it becomes their mode of transportation towards the next planet of their choosing.
This is only one portrayal of many suits that the main character will go through as he escapes and attempts to return with the ability to fight back. This is his basic spacesuit before escaping in the ship that I have posted earlier.
