The Big Day

Here's me on the big day of turning in my application and portfolio for the Animation Program. Hopefully I can have this happy face in a few weeks.

The Night Who Rode a Camel

These are some character concepts I worked on over the weekend for my story: "The Knight Who Rode a Camel." It takes place during the Crusades and is about a knight left behind and his misfortunes after being tricked by a genie, and his journey to save a town near by from the genie's plans.
Well, tomorrow's the day I turn in all of my drawings, sketch book, and animations for admission to the animation program. Now I can sit back, relax, and wait a few weeks to receive a letter of acceptance. Who am I kidding? I won't relax at all. I'll keep checking the mail daily like I'm ripping open a present! I won't be sitting around either. Any day now Brenden could pop out and pay us a visit. I'm so excited, I can't wait to meet him. April will be a very exciting month!

New sketch and fina alienl walk animation

Here's a new sketch I have drawn of an actual exoskeleton suit designed by the Japanese called Hal-5. I added a helmet and made the suit a little less bulky. I also finished and cleaned up my alien walk to turn in with my portfolio this Monday. I'll be relieved to have everything turned in, but I'll still probably be stressed out for a few weeks waiting to hear if I got accepted.

More Character Development

This is some character development for one of my stories. I drew them all this afternoon and still can't decide on the hair or face, though I think I like the face of the one on the left the best. Lydia is a former Russian assassin that works under cover and feeds Barracuda information when he needs it.

Alien Walk

This is a walk cycle of a character I've been working on to turn in with my portfolio this Friday. I just need to fix a few more things and put some more drawings in between to smooth it out a little.

More Character Development

Here's Julie with only a few more weeks to go until our baby boy Brenden is born, and some sketches for my alien and navy seal stories.

Characters and walk sketches

These are a few more characters for my navy seal story, some character designs for a walk cycle animation I am working on, I'll probably use the alien guy, and some fun i had sculpting an alien chicken with my eraser for another one of my stories.
